Bill Cunningham Talks Asian Fashion

When NYC locals go home for Thanksgiving, the presence of tourists in the city is even more obvious. New York Times fashion reporter Bill Cunningham’s most recent video “Learning From Visitors” documents the outlandish fashions worn by Asian tourists.

As expats living in Shanghai, we at GoGlobal are no strangers to the unique trends popular with 上海人 (Shanghai ren) both young and old. I also never miss the opportunity to take pictures!

Most recently, I saw this awesome little dude in front of me on the escalator on a Saturday morning in People’s Square:

And this guy in front of me on another escalator in West Nanjing Road metro:
